Bridge On The Brink Of Collapse Spotted In Lekki [PHOTOS]

A pedestrian bridge in the Lekki axis of Lagos State is in urgent need of attention.

It is not uncommon to see infrastructure in need of repair in the country, but when it is something that members of the public use on a daily basis, then it becomes a thing of concern.

A concerned Nigerian has shared pictures of a bridge at First Gate Bus stop in Lekki which appears to have a huge crack somewhere in the middle.

It is disturbing to see that the bridge (which is an overpass on a major road) has dilapidated to such an extent. Should it collapse suddenly, the damage done to human lives and property could be incalculable.

As the Instagram user has rightly stated, it has gotten to the extent that those who use the pedestrian bridge see it as scary because it could collapse at any time.
