Nigerian singer Yemi Alade who revealed over the weekend that her mother, Helen Uzoma, once sold her economy plane ticket to pay her school fees while in primary school has been labelled a liar by fans.
She took to her Instagram early Monday from London, saying the city was more than a place for her family.
According to the singer, it brings back memories of hard times but also connects with the present as they are now able to fly business class.
She said;
“London is more than just a City to my family, it marks a time in our lives (20yrs ago) when mum had to sell her Economy class ticket to pay my Primary 6 school fees. Today we Fly Business Class!” the singer said.
