Celebrities like Kate Henshaw, Hilda Dokubo and some other agitated movie icons who kicked against the decision of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, to select Senator Elisha Abbo as a patron of the guild has led to a call for an emergency by the President of the guild, Emeka Rollas over the issue.

According to the information passed by the Guild’s Public Relations Officer, Monalisa Chinda, “AGN has heard the voices of the actors and willing to engage in dialogue.

It says;

“WE HEARD YOUR VOICES OF CONCERN
This is a special appeal to our teeming members, fans and associates that the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN is mindful of the feelings of some members with regards to the the choice of Senator Ishaku Abbo as National Patron , North East Zone of AGN.In view of this, the National President , Mr Emeka  Rollas Ejezieh, has called for a general meeting of  stakeholders on Monday 23/03/2020 at Natives Restaurant and Lounge, Ojo Ologbun Close , off Idejo street , Victoria Island Lagos. Time: 11am. The object of this meeting is essentially to tackle this issue and other relevant matters relating to the AGN and its quest to improve the welfare of members.

This was caused by Senator Elisha Abbo who was seen as a patron when he was spotted in a s8x toy shop beating the lady attending to him.
