Abudu was appointed by the International Academy of Television, Arts and Sciences as the first African director of the Academy, a role she performed at the just concluded 47th International Emmy Awards in New York.

Mosunmola Abudu is a Nigerian media personality and philanthropist who has been described by Forbes as Africa’s most successful woman.

She was born in London and spent her early years in the UK. She has a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Westminster in London.
