Why My Kids Hate Blacks – Mike Tyson

Former American professional boxer Mike Tyson has shared some shocking details about his children.

The 53-year-old made the disturbing disclosure on rapper T.I.’s ExpediTIously podcast, saying that it hurt to know that his kids share a dislike of black people.

The concerned father also said that his children’s disdain for blacks made them date only those of other races. He blamed himself for that as he feels he failed them as a father and a black man.

You know what bothers me, too, man? And I gotta say this. Why my kids don’t like black kids? They don’t date black kids. Why is that? Sometimes I look at my daughter, I see she’s attracted to white guys, and I think, ‘I didn’t set a good example as a black man,’ then. Tyson also had a few things to say about his weaknesses, claiming to be a “savage animal” when his wife was not by his side.

The former sportsman got married to Lahika Spicer, his third wife in 2009 and further revealed that he doesn’t consider himself faithful enough to not cheat on her but that the union had worked so far as he has gone two years without being intimate with another woman.

Michael Gerard Tyson competed as a boxer from 1985 to 2005. He reigned as the undisputed world heavyweight champion and holds the record as the youngest boxer to win a heavyweight title (a feat he accomplished at the age of 20).

He won his first 19 fights via knockouts with 12 of them in the first round and was the first heavyweight boxer to simultaneously hold the WBA, WBC and IBF titles, and the only heavyweight to unify them successfully.

Tyson is considered one of the best heavyweights of all time and was ranked No. 16 on The Ring’s list of greatest punchers of all time.

He has been inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame and the World Boxing Hall of Fame. He has eight children.
