Singer Katy Perry and actor Orlando Bloom are engaged and are expecting their first child together, but she has disclosed that it has not been all rosy.
Katy says that there is friction between her and the Pirates of the Caribbean star. She made this known in a chat with Ryan Seacrest On Air.
Confirming that they were going to be parents this upcoming summer, Katy spilled new details on her relationship with Orlando Bloom.
The artist said that her partner has helped her become her very best self, in addition to what her parents instilled in her. She mentioned that the friction between them leads to something beautiful.
I’m glad I have been able to come out of the other side of this journey that’s almost been twelve years of being in the spotlight and I am really profoundly grateful that I am not hooked on drugs or I am not a huge alcoholic. I have my head on my shoulders. I have compassion for anyone that is going through that, but being in the industry will turn you into an insane person if you let it.
There’s a lot of friction between my partner and I. But, that friction breeds something beautiful. It can breed a lot of light.
