Celebrities have been known to be lax when it comes to being involved in disciplining their children, but not rapper T.I. who revealed that he takes his 17-year-old daughter, Deyjah, to the hospital for routine checks to make sure that she is still a virgin.
TMZ reports that the hip hop star made the revelation during a podcast called Ladies Like Us, hosted by two ladies, Nazanin and Nadia, with T.I. as a guest.
In a conversation that centered on having the ‘sex talk’ with kids, T.I. stated that during the trips to the hospital, his daughter’s hymen is checked while he waits to see the results.
The 39-year-old musician said what he was doing was exercising his parental right so that his daughter would be spared the agony of making bad decisions.
One of the hosts went on to comment that most children appreciate their parents for not allowing them to destroy their lives when they look back later in life.
Deyjah turns 18 this year and those waiting to get involved with her will have to answer to her protective dad and possibly face his wrath.
