‘Thor 4’: Beta Ray Bill Character Rumored To Appear

Beta Ray Bill, a character from the comics is reportedly going to make his cinematic debut in the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder.

The upcoming Thor movie is unique in that the Asgardian is the only MCU character to get a fourth film. This was due to the largely successful different portrayal of Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok.

So far, we know that Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie and Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster will return in a plot that is being heavily kept secret.

Actor Christian Bale who is reportedly in talks to feature in Thor: Love and Thunder is rumored to be linked to the role of Beta Ray Bill.

In Marvel Comics, Beta Ray Bill is notable for his monstrous appearance but he turns out to be a hero. What makes him significant is his being one of the few persons who are capable of lifting Thor’s magical hammer Mjolnir.

Beta Ray Bill later gets a hammer of his own called Stormbreaker in addition to possessing superhuman strength, speed, agility, excellent hand-to-hand combat skills, and an extended lifespan.

After reports that Bale was in negotiations to be a part of the project, fans began to speculate that he would play Beta Ray Bill. This might turn out to be true or false as there are other characters that he could also breathe life to in the MCU.

Thor: Love and Thunder has a release date of November 5, 2021.
