‘Timmy Failure’ Trailer: A Little Boy With An Active Imagination

An 11-year-old boy and his 1,500-pound polar bear take on the world in Disney’s upcoming flick.

Directed by Tom McCarthy and based on the book series of the same name by Stephen Pastis, Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made is set to debut on Disney + on February 7, 2020, and stars Winslow Fegley as the eponymous character.

Kids often find solace in their imaginary friends and Timmy Failure is no different. His faithful bear goes along with him as he pretends to be a detective whose knack for solving cases is masked by his misleading name.

The two-minute trailer shows the pint-sized hero who claims to be the CEO of his own detective company go through funny moments while coming in contact with different persons who may or may not have any bearing on his life.

The occasional humor isn’t lacking and Timmy’s motto, “Mistakes were made” seems to be his excuse when for coming up short.

Disney projects are always full of surprises and one gets the feeling that there is a lot more behind the little boy than the clip shows. We will have to wait and see.
