A worldwide epidemic targets the female species in the official trailer for Only.
Freida Pinto and Leslie Odom Jr. star as a couple who do everything and anything possible as they watch their world consumed by a mysterious ash that kills only women.
The plot is a unit take on the theme of a viral outbreak which brings the current coronavirus to mind. Because of the nature of the threat, it appears that Odom’s character hides his wife from the public eye.
From Vertical Studios comes a science-fiction horror that was part of the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival that brings something that promises to be the first of its kind.
At a point, Pinto’s character becomes frustrated with the measures her partner takes but he assures her that he is doing so to protect her. The two are forced to go on the run as the threat to the woman’s life extends to the male folk around her.
With a plot this intriguing and the look of the trailer, movie fans wouldn’t want to miss it when it comes.
Only is out in Select Theaters and On-Demand on March 6, 2020.
