Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt are teaming up again to play husband and wife in Ball and Chain.
Both actors star in the upcoming adventure movie from Disney titled Jungle Cruise, and it seems their combo really works well, hence a second movie with both of them being developed.
Deadline reports that Johnson and Blunt will portray a bickering couple who receive super powers that only work if they can learn to put aside their differences and work together.

Edgar and Mallory Bulson have decided to throw in the towel. That was the plan anyway, until a mysterious meteor bathed the battling couple in extraterrestrial energies that gave them superpowers. Will their newfound abilities be enough to make their marriage work?”
The script is written by Emily V. Gordon, with Kevin Musher producing with Johnson’s Seven Bucks.
Several studios are currently involved in a bidding war for the project and it looks like Netflix emerge the winner.
