Free Guy stars Ryan Reynolds as a man in an open-world video game who chooses to be more than what he is. Becoming aware than he is in a video game, he embarks on a personal journey to make himself the hero in a world that is populated with a lot of bad guys on the rampage.
The trailer is filled with great special effects and the expected humor from a movie that stars Reynolds. The visuals will take the minds of movie lovers back to Ready Player One but the outrageous nature of this one is sure to be more appealing.
Filmmaker and actor Taika Waititi is shown in a role that sees him sounding like rapper Snoop Dogg, with a Stranger Things star looking on.
Directed by Shawn Levy, Free Guy will be released by 20th Century Fox on July 3, 2020.
