Avengers: Endgame star Chris Evans is starring in the Apple TV + series Defending Jacob and it will launch on April 24, 2020.

The upcoming series is “character-driven” and is a television adaptation of the book of the same name and will be available on the streaming platform on the aforementioned date with new episodes being released every Friday.

Defending Jacob follows a criminal investigation in which an assistant district attorney (Chris Evans) finds himself torn between upholding justice and his unconditional love for his son.

Mark Bomback is the series creator and is also the writer, executive producer, and showrunner while Morten Tyldum will direct.

Defending Jacob also stars Michelle Dockery, Jaeden Martell and J.K. Simmons.
