BREAKING: Bayelsa Assembly Speaker Resigns

Monday Bubou-Obolo, Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, has resigned his position to give room for the emergence of a new speaker.

The Deputy Speaker, Abraham Ngobere has been elected by the legislators as the new speaker of the State’s Assembly.

The Speaker’s resignation is coming as a result of the inauguration of Duoye Diri as Governor of Bayelsa state.

Duoye Diri and Bubou-Obolo are from the same Bayelsa Central Senatorial District.
