[VIDEO] Sowore's Wife, Children, Lead Protest In U.S Over DSS Continued Detention Of Activist
Protesters demanding release of Omoyele Sowore

Wife of detained activist Omoyele Sowore, his children and other supporters on Tuesday took to the streets of New Jersey to protest for his release.

The protest took place outside the office of U.S senator Bob Menedez. The protesters tie yellow ribbon on a tree, clamouring for Sowore’s freedom.

His wife, Opeyemi Sowore said: “I can’t explain to our children why their father isn’t here for thanksgiving. The children need their father, I need my husband. Communications have been extremely sparse”.

Recall that the activist alongside his co-accused, Olawale Bakare has been granted bail by the federal high court but are still being kept in the DSS custody.

Odunews.com also reported how the court threatened to jail the DSS DG, Bishi, if he fails to release the duo.
