Netflix’s Stranger Things has been displaced by The Mandalorian as the most in-demand streaming series.

Stranger Things is one of the most popular streaming originals but this week, the Disney + original series The Mandalorian raced past it to become the most-streamed show in the United States, breaking a 21-week streak.

The information was provided by Parrot Analytics, a company with insight into audience demand for TV content. It had Stranger Things at the top of their in-demand list of streaming shows in the U.S. for 21 weeks since its debut in July and showed that between November 17 to November 23, The Mandalorian made 100 million expressions (more than Stranger Things which has 81 million).

Part of the success of The Mandalorian can be attributed to (spoiler alert!) the introduction of the ‘Baby Yoda’ character. His powers, so impressive at such a tender age, have made him the most intriguing character yet.

The fourth episode of The Mandalorian arrives on the 29th of November, 2019.
