The case between the Federal Government and Omoyele Sowore seems to be heading towards another direction as the Federal government is allegedly planning to charge the activist with terrorism.
This was made known by Socio – Economic Right And Accountability Project (SERAP) in a tweet on its official handle.
The group quoted Sowore’s counsel, Femi Falana, saying Nigerian authorities plan to charge Sowore with terrorism.
Odunews.com had earlier reported that the Attorney General of the federation, Abubakar Malami, has taken over the case against the activist from the Department of States Security Service.

BREAKING: Nigerian authorities plan to charge Sowore with terrorism, says Femi Falana, SAN.
Let's be absolutely clear: Sowore is a prisoner of conscience.
Sowore is NOT a terrorist.

The group also stated that the DSS interrogated the detained activist on Thursday questioning him about his alleged links with the proscribed Boko Haram sect, IPOB and IMN which he vehemently denied.
In spite of the directive of the AGF to take over the case the SSS subjected Sowore to a 4-hour interrogation yesterday (12/12/19). The entire interrogation pertained to Sowore's alleged links with the proscribed Boko Haram sect, IPOB and IMN which he vehemently denied.
