Marvel’s ‘WandaVision’ Series Has A Major Surprise For Fans
Elizabeth Olsen will reprise her role as Wanda

A lot of fans are aware that Marvel is developing a series called WandaVision that will see the return of Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, but what they don’t know is that a major Avenger will probably make a special appearance.

Created specifically for Disney +, WandaVision is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and will follow up on the events of Avengers: Endgame.

Not much has been revealed about the plot of the series (so typical of Marvel) but we can safely assume that Wanda will face new foes and her powers may get some upgrades as well.

A new rumor suggests that Doctor Strange actor Benedict Cumberbatch will be on set for the final week of principal photography on WandaVision. This means that the character is most likely set to appear in the series, maybe in the final episode.

Rumors indicate that Doctor Strange may appear in WandaVision

The above information makes sense because it has been said that WandaVision will tie into the plot of the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It has also been disclosed that Wanda will undergo a change that will see her become Scarlet Witch.

It will be exciting to see Doctor Strange team up with Wanda as both of them draw their powers from metaphysical sources. Fans will also be pleased to see the duo fight side by side.

Paul Bettany’s Vision will also return

Paul Bettany (who played Vision) will reprise his role and this bit of news is kind of puzzling as we all know that Vision died in Avengers: Infinity War. Will he be here in flashback scenes or as a resurrected character? I guess we will have to wait and see.

WandaVision is billed for release in early 2020 and will consist of six episodes. It co-stars Teyonah Parris, Kat Dennings, Randall Park, and Kathryn Hahn.
