How I Spent BBNaija First Prize Money – Mercy Eke

BBNaija winner Mercy Eke has revealed details concerning the prize she won while jokingly expressing interest in going back to being a Youth Corp member due to the sudden increase in the allowance fee.

According to reports, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim, the director-general of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), finally cleared the air on the fixed amount for the monthly allowance for members of the scheme.

The reality star took to her Twitter page where she jokingly  made a tweet saying;

This must be a good time to be a corper o, is what am hearing true ? Will they pay all old corp members our own share asking for a friend.

Then a Twitter user who seemed to have taken her words seriously responded saying;

Has your BBN money finish

Mercy’s answer was both metaphorical and rhetorical:

Have you ever seen a beach lack sand? no, it creates even more sand

Her reply is an indirect way of saying that the money that she won on the reality show has generated more money for her saying;
