Convener of the #RevolutionNow Protest Omoyele Sowore has accused the Department of States Security Service of planning to detain him again.
Sowore made this known through his instagram handle on Wednesday.
Odunews.com reports that the Federal High Court in Abuja adjourned the suits filed by Sowore and his co-accused Olawale Bakare against the DSS to March 25.
In an instagram post after the court’s ruling, Sowore said the DSS had filed a secret request asking for another order to detain him.
Folks: Today we returned to the Federal High Court in ABUJA in pursuit of our fundamental rights enforcement lawsuit asking for damages for our illegal detention between August and December 2019. Case adjourned till March 25, 2020. But hear this!
A little sinister surprise happened as the judge asked the DSS to address its next case, it turned out that the regime through the DSS had filed a secret request to the court asking for another order to detain me, they didn’t reveal the date the request was filed. However, they looked embarrassed as they requested to withdraw the case claiming it had been overtaken by events!
