The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 87 new COVID-19 cases in the country.
This was disclosed on the agency’s Twitter handle on Saturday night.
According to the breakdown, 33 were confirmed in Lagos, 18 in Borno, 12 in Osun, nine in Katsina, four each in Kano and Ekiti, three each in Edo and Bauchi, and one in Imo.
The number of discharged patients increased from 208 to 222, while the number of deaths increased from 32 to 35.
As at 11:55 pm on April 25, 1,182 confirmed cases of COVID-19 had been reported in Nigeria.
