The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Lagos state has risen to 3,521, odunews.com reports.
This new tally comes as the state government confirmed 148 new infections announced by the Nigerian Centre of Disease Control (NCDC) in the state on Sunday.
Lagos state Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, who disclosed this through a tweet on Monday also said that the state recorded one more COVID-19 related death.
“148 new #COVID19 Infection confirmed. Total number of confirmed #COVID19 cases in Lagos is now 3521, 31 fully recovered #COVID19Lagos patients; 12 females & 19 males were discharged after testing negative to #COVID19,” he tweeted.
