“By 2023, those who joined APC because of what they stand to chop when the food is cooked and has chopped will be smiling their way to other parties or even retire to their chops, while those who love and Laboured for the party will be crying their eyes out,” he added.

Odunews.com reports that Obaseki was disqualified by the APC’s screening panel on the basis of discrepancies in the certificates he submitted.
The Edo state governor has however insisted that he would not appeal his disqualificationwhich has led to speculations that he may decamp to the Peoples Democratic Party.
Obaseki has been at loggerheads with the imemediate past governor of the state who is also the party’s National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, for over two years.
Although, Obaseki’s disqualification has been tied to his long-standing disagreement with Oshiomhole, the APC national chairman maintained that he was disqualified in line with the party’s constitution.
