The House of Representatives has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to retaliate against Ghana over the demolition of Nigeria’s High Commission building in the country.

The Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, demanded that President Buhari invoke the diplomatic principle of reciprocity against Ghana, in response to the demolition of Nigeria’s Embassy building in that country.
The principle demands that that favours, benefits, or penalties that are granted by one state to the citizens or legal entities of another, should be returned in kind.
Rt. Hon Gbajabiamila spoke on behalf of the Green Chamber, at an interactive session with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Geoffrey Onyema over the demolition.
