Former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, on Monday met with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The meeting took place at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The meeting is coming ahead of the governorship election in Edo State.
The election has been largely seen as a battle between Oshiomhole and his successor, Godwin Obaseki, who is seeking re-election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party after he was disqualified from contesting for the APC ticket.
Oshiomhole arrived for the meeting about 2:50pm.
