Nigerian musician, Wizkid is currently trending on Twitter as fans dig our a post where the Starboy shared his horrible experience with men of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS.
Wizkid in the 2010 post said he had a gun pointed at him and the only thing that saved him was because he told them he was mourning his father who died a week before.
Fans are beginning to wonder what would have happened if Wizkid was shot dead, of course there won’t be Starboy today. They are expressing gratitude on behalf of the singer.
The clamour for #EndSARS still continues amid the tension in the country, Wizkid is one of the few artists consistently lending their voice to the campaign.
OduNews.com could recall that the Starboy musician joined host of other protesters in UK in the first week of the protest. Nevertheless, protests are still ongoing in other parts of the world and protesters in Nigeria are expected back on the streets when tension on looting and violence have been eased.
