A video is circulating online, showing the moment the chairman of Maiha Local Government Council, Idi Aminu Turakin Pakka, in Adamawa state is seen assaulting a mechanic.
In the 30 seconds video which has sparked reactions online, Pakka could be seen insulting the mechanic in Hausa language before proceeding to slap him in the face.

Nigerians have taken to social media to condemn the act and blast the local government chairman.
While also criticizing the officer in the video for allowing such activity to stand because the chairman is a politician, social media users opined that no matter what the mechanic had done to him, he should have handled the matter in a more civil way.
