The presidential flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu after he emerged as the winner of the presidential primaries of the All Progressives Congress.
OduNews had earlier reported that Tinubu won the party’s ticket after polling 1,271 votes against his closest competitors, Rotimi Amaechi and Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
Reacting to Atiku’s victory via his Twitter page, Atiku congratulated Tinubu while noting that it has been a “hard fought contest.”
