The co-founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, has praised Nigerian biker, Kunle Adeyanju, who rode his bike from London to Lagos to raise funds for polio campaign.
Adeyanju began his trip in London on April 19 and arrived in Lagos 29th of May, spending 41 days on the journey. He plans to raise funds for Rotary International’s fight against polio through the trip.
Speaking via his Twitter handle, Bill Gates tagged Adeyanju’s action, as incredible.

The biker also responded to Gates comment and claimed the billionaire “birthed the inspiration” for the journey.
Quoting Bill Gates tweet, Adeyanju said, “Thank Mr Gates for the kind words, & a big thank you also for your tremendous support to Rotary Foundation towards eradication of Polio & solving other world problems.
“Your good works birthed the inspiration for #LondonToLagos,” he added.

Adeyanju who is popularly called “Lion Heart” by fans, became popular by posting daily pictures with comments of his journey on social media.
A former Shell employee, Adeyanju self-funded his trip with 19,000 euros ($20,400) in savings, hoping to raise up to 20 million naira ($48 million) for Rotary International.
