Parts of the popular Bashorun market in Ibadan were razed down by fire late on Thursday, OduNews reports.
Many shops were gutted by the fire that reportedly started late Thursday night at the Basorun Market.
Men of the fire service have put out the fire as traders scrambled to salvage what is left.
The fire outbreak comes barely a week after a similar incident at the Araromi spare parts market.
