The Peoples Democratic Party and the Labour Party have asked the Independent National Electoral Commission to cancel the presidential election.
The parties also called for the sack of the chairman of the commission, Mahmood Yakubu.
This was stated at a joint press conference by the parties in Abuja on Tuesday.
