Obi-Datti Media Team Warns INEC Against Electoral Process Manipulation

Mr. Diran Onifade, the Head of the Obi-Datti Media Team, issued a warning to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on the 25th of February, cautioning them against interfering with the electoral process. He stated that the Obi-Datti Media Team will not accept any presidential election result that is not consistent with the results obtained from the polling units. He also raised concerns about alleged attempts to manipulate the results of the presidential election throughout the country.

Mr. Onifade criticized INEC for failing to upload most of the results to its server at the polling stations. He stated that it was both suspicious and fraudulent that the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BIVAS) device was able to transmit the Senate and House of Representatives results, but not that of the Presidential election.

The Obi-Datti Media Team found it peculiar that the BVAS selectively chose which results to upload, suggesting an attempt to undermine the desires of the Nigerian electorate who have chosen to use the ballot box to make changes in Nigeria.

Mr. Onifade called on all relevant organizations to take action to prevent a South-South Governor from meddling in the electoral process, asserting that INEC should be held accountable for this anomaly that defies logic. He urged local and international observers and other stakeholders to pay attention to this orchestrated anomaly and to call INEC to order.

The Obi-Datti Media Team would like to make it clear that it will not accept any presidential election result that is inconsistent with the results released at the polling units, copies of which they already have.
