Ambassador Bamalli, known for his illustrious diplomatic career, was not only a prominent figure on the international stage but also held significant positions within the Zazzau Emirate Council.

Ambassador Bamalli was the Magajin Garin Zazzau, and the younger brother of the incumbent Emir of Zazzau, Amb. Nuhu Bamalli. His sudden demise was confirmed in a statement issued by the Media and Publicity officer of the Zazzau Emirate Council on Friday.

According to the statement, Ambassador Bamalli breathed his last in a private hospital in Lagos while en route to Morocco. The news of his passing has sent shockwaves through diplomatic and royal circles.

The statement further expressed that details regarding funeral arrangements would be provided to the public at a later time. Ambassador Bamalli is survived by his wife and two children, who are now mourning the loss of a beloved husband and father.

Ambassador Mansur Nuhu Bamalli’s career was marked by dedication and excellence. He was appointed to the esteemed role of Nigeria’s Ambassador to Morocco by former President Muhammadu Buhari in 2022. Prior to this, he had served as a deputy director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he had demonstrated exceptional skills and competence.
