In a significant move aimed at fostering unity and harmony within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), a delegation of Governors elected on the party’s platform is scheduled to visit the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.
The much-anticipated meeting is set to take place on Wednesday, November 1, at the Minister’s office in Garki, Abuja, commencing at 11 a.m.
In an official statement released by the Director General of the PDP Governors Forum, CID Maduabum, it was revealed that the primary objective of this proposed meeting is to facilitate reconciliation and mediation amongst party members.
The decision to embark on this important visit to Minister Wike was unanimously agreed upon during the Governors’ latest gathering, held in Abuja on Tuesday night.
Maduabum’s statement, which was issued earlier today, reads in part, “The Chairman of the Forum, Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, hereby requests member Governors to converge at his residence, No 1 Miriam Aloma Muktar Street, Asokoro, opposite Rivers State Governors Lodge at 10.45 am to accompany him for the visit.”
