During an appearance on the Morning Show program of Arise Television, Ajulo, who is the head of the business Kayode Ajulo & Co. Castle of Law, brought up concerns over the governance process in the lack of the governor’s direct engagement.

In spite of the fact that Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the deputy governor, is a member of the hierarchy, Ajulo emphasized that constitutional provisions have not made it possible for him to be formally transferred to the position of governor. As a result of this circumstance, Ajulo believes that a group that he referred to as “cabals” has been given the ability to exercise control over the activities of the state.

According to Ajulo, multiple commissioners had sent letters to the governor and received clearances for those memos. He provided specific examples to support his assertion. Nevertheless, when these approvals were compared to the judgments that the governor had made while he was in good health, it was discovered that there were considerable difference between the two.

The involvement of private investigators in the investigation of the matter was addressed by Ajulo, who made reference to legal frameworks such as the Police and Administration of Justice Act. Specifically, he made the statement that the findings were concerning, alluding to the possibility that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) might be required to carry out investigations in the state of Ondo.

There is an obvious contrast between the authentic signatures of the governor and those on recent approvals, according to Ajulo, who passionately maintained that the signatures on the documents in question did not originate from the governor.

Because of these claims, significant concerns have been raised regarding the governance and decision-making processes that are carried out inside the administration of Ondo State. As a result, the appropriate authorities are being called upon to conduct additional scrutiny and maybe conduct an inquiry.
