Uncle Howdy is back — and he has the whole world in his hands.
For weeks, fans have eagerly anticipated the return of Uncle Howdy, the character played by Taylor Rotunda, better known as Bo Dallas. This character, originally introduced by the late Bray Wyatt, made his comeback on “Monday Night Raw” following the men’s Money in the Bank qualifying match.
The arena lights dimmed, revealing a mysterious woman walking onto the ramp. The camera then cut to a backstage scene showing several superstars laid out, with three masked figures standing over them. Uncle Howdy finally emerged from the darkness, holding Bray Wyatt’s signature lantern. Surrounded by his entourage, he declared, “We’re here,” before blowing out the lantern and ending the show.

WWE stars hinted at their involvement with the Wyatt 6 on social media. Nikki Cross shared an image from one of the QR codes, while Joe Gacy posted a picture of the group. WWE is also selling apparel featuring the Wyatt 6.
Uncle Howdy was first introduced by Wyatt upon his WWE return in October 2022. Initially an antagonist, Howdy became Wyatt’s companion during his feud with LA Knight. At the 2023 Royal Rumble, Howdy performed a diving elbow off a platform onto LA Knight during their pitch-black match.
Plans were seemingly in place for Wyatt and Uncle Howdy to face Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39, but these were shelved when Wyatt was taken off television due to illness. Following Wyatt’s tragic death in August 2023, Uncle Howdy also disappeared from WWE programming.
In the months after Wyatt’s passing, there were reports of WWE wanting to bring back Uncle Howdy to honor Wyatt’s legacy. Since April, strange music and broadcast glitches featuring QR codes have appeared during WWE shows, hinting at the character’s return. The latest QR code countdown concluded on “Monday Night Raw” on June 17.
Now, with Uncle Howdy’s return, the legacy of Bray Wyatt continues.
