Kaduna Judge Released by Kidnappers, Children Still Held for Ransom

A Kaduna female judge, kidnapped alongside her children last Sunday, has been released by her captors, while her children remain in captivity. The terrorists are demanding a ransom of N150 million for their release.

The husband of the judge, Dr. Musa Gimba, confirmed that the kidnappers have given a three-day deadline for the ransom payment, threatening to kill the children if their demands are not met.

ASP Mansir Hassan, spokesperson for the State Police Command, confirmed the tragic killing of the judge’s 14-year-old eldest son, Victor. His body was discovered by police operatives near the toll gate along the Kaduna-Abuja expressway on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
