JAMB opens portal for candidates to change institution, course

JAMB has activated its portal for the 2026 UTME candidates who want to switch their choice of institution or programme after sitting the exam. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB's spokesperson, confirmed in a statement that eligible candidates can now make these changes.

Candidates must visit any of JAMB's approved Computer-Based Test centres to complete the changes. The Board warned candidates to use only accredited CBT centres to ensure proper processing and prevent errors in their applications.

The portal opening comes ahead of the printing of original result slips for the 2026 UTME, which JAMB said will begin on Monday, May 18, 2026. This means candidates will have a window to adjust their choices before their final results are printed and issued.

Candidates across the country who are unsatisfied with their initial institution or course selection should head to their nearest approved JAMB CBT centre to make the necessary corrections.
