In a bid to unravel the mysterious circumstances surrounding the untimely demise of the young and talented musician, Mohbad, the Lagos State Police Command has officially initiated a 13-member special investigation team.
The announcement came during a press conference held in Lagos on Monday, led by the Lagos Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa.
Mohbad, a former artist under the Marlian Records, owned by the renowned musician Naira Marley, tragically passed away last Tuesday at the tender age of 27. His sudden death sent shockwaves through the music industry, leaving fans, colleagues, and the general public perplexed.
Commissioner Owohunwa stated firmly during the press conference that the police command would utilize all available resources and capabilities to unearth the truth behind Mohbad’s passing.
“Do not forget, we have unique access to INTERPOL. Everybody linked to it (the death of Mohbad) will be identified and they will be brought to establish their level of involvement,” Owohunwa stated.
