Transformers lead actor Shia LaBeouf recently opened up about his experiences as a Disney star while growing up, revealing that he had been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
The movie star made the disclosure on an episode of Awards Chatter from The Hollywood Reporter, where he said that there was tremendous pressure on him as a kid to cater for his family.
In his young mind then, making more money would lead to having his family around him more frequently. He further stated that capitalism played a crucial part in the tension among his immediate family members.
LaBeouf’s acting career has been marked by controversy; from his erratic behavior to several arrests. He had got into a fight with an undercover cop in Georgia in 2017 and had to go to a rehabilitation facility at the behest of a judge.
Shia Saide LaBeouf (born June 11, 1986) is an American actor, performance artist, and filmmaker who was introduced to younger audiences in the Disney Channel series Even Stevens, a role which got him a Young Artist nomination and a Daytime Emmy Award.
