Dane DeHaan has been added to the cast of the upcoming adaptation of Lisey’s Story, a book from renowned horror author Stephen King.
The series also stars Julianne Moore, Clive Owen, and Joan Allen and is a deeply personal thriller that follows Lisey (Moore) two years after losing her spouse (Owen) being forced to face certain truths about him that she would rather forget.
DeHaan will play Jim Dooley, a fan of Scott’s (Lisey’s husband) books who wants his unpublished works released to the world.
The adapted script was written by King himself based on his bestselling novel and the series will have a limited release, premiering on Apple TV +.
Dane William DeHaan is an American actor whose roles include Andrew Detmer in Chronicle (2012), Harry Osbourne in The Amazing Spider-Man (2014), and the title character in Luc Beeson’s Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017).
