Senator Dino Melaye described the November 16 election in Kogi state as a civil war that claimed 16 lives.
Melaye who also contested in the election to represent Kogi west senatorial district in the 9th assembly condemned the conduct of the election.
He made this known via his official twitter handle.
Melaye said “What we had in kogi is no election,what we had was a civil war that has claimed 16 lives so far. I will report Bello,Smart Adeyemi.Taofik,Speaker Kolawole and sunday Faleke to the international community and then proceed to Hague.This i promise..SDM”.
The Senator also exposed the discrepancies that occurred in the result announced by the Independent Electoral Commission for Okene Local Government Area of the state.
“Registered voters of Okene LGA 118,543 PVCs collected 48,065, INEC announced APC scored 112,764 vote exceed PVC colected wit 64,543, SDM”, he further tweeted.
