Facebook and Instagram are set to implement a change from next year that will prevent users from below the age of 18 from seeing suggestive ads and images.
Consequent to the new policy, the tech company will stop all types of sexually explicit content for users all over the world.
Teens will be prevented from seeing sexual adverts, fictional depictions of sex, and art forms of nudity and sexual acts.
A downside to the new development is that it will depend on teenagers registering their real ages as it is most likely that they would lie in order for them to have access to inappropriate content.
