Moana voice actress Auli’i Cravalho has been added to the cast of The Power, series based on Naomi Alderman’s novel of the same name.
Cravalho’s voice acting as the titular character in Moana was praised and the film was a critical and commercial success. Since then, doors have opened for the young actress, with The Power being the latest of them.
The 10-episode series from Amazon will take place in a world where teenage girls develop the power to electrocute people. They discover that they can also awaken the ability in older women.
Leslie Mann will play the charming and ambitious politician Margot Cleary-Lopez while Cravalho will portray her daughter, Jos.
Auli’i Cravalho was born on November 22, 2000. She is an American actress, voice actress, and singer. She made her acting debut in the 2016 Disney animated movie Moana. She then made her television debut in 2018 in the NBC drama series Rise.
