Mr. Eazi returns with a wonderful collaboration featuring one of hip hop’s icons.
The video for Tony Montana couldn’t be more appropriate to the vibe of the song. The black and white element in some shots and the costumes of the music stars remind us of the character of Tony Montana from the movie and kudos to Mr. Eazi for the visuals which strike the right note.
This song is packed with killer rhymes and notable punchlines and Mr. Eazi asserts his musical dominance and peculiarity in a track that takes self-appraisal to new heights. Tyga’s easy way of unleashing rap bars that will make other rappers wish they had such talent just totally compliments the song, with both stars bringing two different genres together in a satisfying result.
A simple set and almost bare backdrop are just enough as the attention here are the two artists on the screen and any other thing is superficial. Tyga switches between singing and rapping, showing his versatility and Mr. Eazi aptly fuses Yoruba to match.
It’s a win for Mr. Eazi as the more one views and listens to the track, the more enraptured one becomes. He knows how to make us move and enjoy ourselves and Tyga’s guest appearance is the icing on the cake.
