South African Lawmaker Assures Burna Boy Of Safety Amidst Protest From Local Artistes

parliamentarian and leader of the main opposition party, Economic Freedom Fighters, Julius Malema, has assured Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, of his safety at The African Unite Concert scheduled to hold on November 24 in the country.

Some South Africans have expressed their dissatisfaction with the organisers of the show for including Burna Boy as one of the artistes to perform.

Recall that rapper, AKA Worldwide had resurrected an old spat with Burna Boy which started from the recent xenophobic attacks on and other foreigners in South Africa. He demanded an apology from Burna Boy before he comes to perform in South Africa.

However, reacting to this via his twitter handle, the lawmaker, assured Burna boy of his safety saying there is no ‘mascot that stop him’.
