Three Policemen Shot Dead At Checkpoint In Kaduna

Suspected gunmen have  reportedly shot dead three policemen at Fadan Karshi Outpost in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State at a checkpoint between Fadan Karshi and Sabon Gida village.

Vice chairman, Sanga Local Government Council, Abubakar Abba, confirmed on Wednesday saying that  the corpses have been kept at the Gwantu General Hospital.

“Two policemen died on the spot and the third one died on the way to the hospital.

“Meanwhile, investigation had commenced as security agents have swung into action while members of the community have been urged to be calm,” he said.

He also appealed to security agencies to tackle the increase of crome rate in the area.

Deputy spokesman of the police in Kaduna, Suleiman Abubakar, also confirmed the incident, saying a statement would be released soon.
