Naira Marley is ready to take his fan base to another whole level as he declares the need to establish a “Marlian Shrine”.
This development is synonymous to the late Afrobeat legend movement, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti whose fans and listeners were vast across the continent and world.
Fela created the “Fela Shrine” in the suburbs of Ikeja, Lagos where fans gather to watch his live musical performances. Today, the venue is now reputable for hosting the yearly Felabration concert in honour of the latest musician.
Naira Marley seems to be walking in a similar path as he comes out on Twitter to share his thoughts of creating a Marlian shrine.
Quite a number of his fans showed support for his thoughts as they passed their comments on the tweet. A fan suggested Mushin Olosa or Oshodi Isale in Lagos as the venue.
OduNews.com observes as he further tweets, “Marlian International High School”, suggesting a name for the shrine.
At this point, Naira Marley can pull any unimaginable things and we’re not so sure how much of it Nigerians can take.
