Nigerian-British actor John Boyega is proud of his Nigerian identity and has proclaimed it to the world at the recent premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
John Boyega who is one of Hollywood’s fast-rising actors moved to the United Kingdom with his parents at a tender age and plays the part of Finn, one of the friends of the protagonist in the concluding movie in the Star Wars saga.
The young actor looked majestic at the event which took place in Los Angeles with his impressive blue Agbada and Danshiki, covering his head with an equally matching blue cap.
Boyega’s part as one of the movie’s main trio has been teased as one of the highlights and will play a significant role in the final film as Rey (Daisy Ridley) rallies her closest friends and allies for one final showdown against the forces of evil.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will have its theatrical release tomorrow (December 20, 2019) and so far reviews have been mixed.
