Canadian born singer, Justin Bieber is about to usher fans into a new 2020 music year as he shares his calendar for the next season.
In a trailer he posted on his YouTube channel on Tuesday, December 24, 2019, with the hashtag, #Bieber2020, he breaks down his schedule for the year.
Justin Bieber announces new single, “Yummy” for January 3
His first song of 2020 will be released on January 3, 2020, and it’s titled “Yummy”. The song is the lead single to Justin Bieber’s fifth studio album, and his first solo release since his fourth studio album, Purpose, on November 13, 2015.
“Yummy” was written by Justin Bieber, Poo Bear and Noah Sammak and recorded at Milk Studio
The song was first teased by Bieber on 27 October 2019, when he took to Instagram to tease the title of the song by drawing it on a piece of paper. The song’s genre which he dubbed “R&BIEBER” was also teased on the following day with another post uploaded onto his Instagram account.
Justin Bieber to release a new album in 2020
Bieber will be releasing a new music album in 2020 which will serve as his fifth and with speculations that the project will be titled JB5. There are a few named tracks already expected to be included in the album, the likes of “Emotions”, “Don’t Go Far”, “Many Men”, “Yummy” and “Forever”.
Bieber announces tour dates for 2020
The singer has also announced his tour dates for the year which will kick off on May 14 at Seattle. Justin Bieber is touching down 45 cities with East Rutherford being his last on September 26.
